Principal BTP AI Development Consultant (f/m/d)

As a Principal AI BTP Development Consultant, you will shape enterprise-grade AI-enabled solutions on SAP BTP and influence long-term technology roadmaps. You’ll work with development, sales, and executives to translate innovation into scalable strategies, mentor colleagues, and foster cross-functional partnerships. This role combines technical leadership with strategic execution to drive transformation across complex customer landscapes. You’ll operate autonomously and own high-impact initiatives that advance SAP’s AI and BTP capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/CS or related field
• Several years of implementation project experience
• Experience with agile methodologies and SAP BTP projects or proofs of concepts
• Open to customer-facing engagements and travel across Europe and globally
• Fluent in German and English
• Hands-on experience with SAP’s extensibility and AI portfolio
• Programming skills in ABAP, Java, or JavaScript on SAP BTP using SAP CAP and/or SAP RAP
• Strong understanding of SAP’s solution portfolio and strategic direction
• Proven track record in leading roles delivering implementation projects
• Experience applying PM methodologies (PMI, SAFe, Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectures, with effort estimation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent communication in German and English
