Principal Digital Business Development and M&A (gn) full-time/ part-time (hybrid)

In this role you own and evolve the digital product strategy and drive growth initiatives aligned with DKV’s vision. You will shape a targeted M&A strategy for the digital product organization and manage an active deal pipeline. You collaborate with cross-functional teams and the central M&A unit to conduct due diligence, evaluate targets, and integrate acquired technologies into roadmaps. You’ll forge partnerships and ventures to expand the digital ecosystem and deliver value to users, while reporting progress to leadership. • Own and develop the overarching digital product strategy and roadmap
• Drive a targeted M&A strategy for the digital product organization and manage the deal pipeline
• Coordinate with central M&A to perform commercial, strategic, and product due diligence
• Identify, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships and joint ventures
• Conduct market and competitor research to spot opportunities and anticipate shifts
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to translate BD initiatives into roadmaps
• Establish reporting frameworks and communicate pipeline status and growth progress to C-level and Board
• Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions

• Extensive experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, M&A, or top-tier Management Consulting
• Proven track record of end-to-end M&A processes including sourcing, due diligence, and integration planning
• Strong understanding of digital business models, platform ecosystems, and technology-driven businesses
• Ability to analyze complex market dynamics and translate insights into strategy
• Excellent communication and ability to influence C-level stakeholders
• Hands-on execution mindset with ability to balance vision and delivery
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
