Overview

In this role, you drive Economic Risk Management for the EEX Group, shaping risk strategy and maintaining an integrated view of material risks beyond the standard waterfall, in line with EMIR. You collaborate across stakeholders to improve risk methodologies, models, and reporting, supporting recovery and resolution planning and regulatory risk reporting. You will translate complex risk insights for committees and senior management while refining processes and enabling risk concepts within IT systems. This is a global, cross-functional role in a dynamic energy exchange environment with a strong focus on forward-looking risk, compliance, and transparency.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Own Economic Risk Management topics including strategy, inventory and risk-bearing capacity with integrated stress testing
  • Develop and refine risk methodologies and models for a robust framework
  • Produce risk reporting to internal committees and senior stakeholders
  • Coordinate the Group Risk Report and collaborate with stakeholders across the EEX Group
  • Focus on recovery and resolution planning: define indicators, assess options, develop scenarios per regulation
  • Regulatory risk reporting per EMIR and international standards; capital planning from normative and economic perspectives
  • Refine processes and integrate risk concepts into IT systems to improve efficiency and transparency
  • Serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders, auditors, and supervisory authorities
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Macroeconomics, or a comparable field
  • Extensive professional experience in a similar role at a CCP, bank, consultancy, or auditing firm with exposure to supervisory authorities and external auditors
  • Strong expertise in banking and CCP regulation; solid mathematical skills in risk modelling and quantification
  • Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented; able to take ownership of complex tasks
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident, persuasive approach
