Principal - Enterprise Applications (m/w/d) - Germany

In this role you drive SAP S/4HANA transformation programs for large global clients, shaping end-to-end enterprise solutions. You lead cross-functional engagement, build roadmaps, and influence business cases and ROI with C-level stakeholders. You will mentor teams and act as the client-facing face, delivering validated MVPs, pilots, and transformation plans. • participate in assessments, due diligences, and transformation workshops
• develop business cases for transformation initiatives within the area
• drive direct business engagement and communicate in client language
• realize blueprints, PoCs, transformation plans, change impacts and learning content
• moderate large cross-domain workshops and guide clients to a vision and requirements
• deliver S/4HANA MVPs, templates, products, and pilots
• secure business buy-in for delivered products
• participate in product roadmap discussions with partners (SAP, Microsoft) to deliver joint value
• provide independent viewpoints based on SAP and vendor roadmaps

• extensive SAP product portfolio experience and SAP consulting
• deep functional or technical SAP skills (finance, controlling, manufacturing, logistics, sales; ABAP, UI5, integration, security, BASIS)
• IT architecture including SAP architecture
• business acumen across industries and value chains
• C-level and senior stakeholder engagement
• IT-enabled transformation and operations experience
• 14+ years of hands-on SAP consulting with a focus on an industry or skillset
• 5 end-to-end projects in a respective SAP offering
• architect or lead project experience
• experience in Greenfield, Brownfield, or hybrid projects
• transformation preparation experience
• SAP toolchain user or administrator
• valid SAP certification in relevant skills
• strong client presentability and interpersonal skills
• solution proposal development and effort estimation
• multitasking, team spirit, and a winning attitude
• preferred: exposure to multiple SAP modules and non-SAP tech (e.g., SFDC, Microsoft)
• prior business domain experience before IT
