Overview

As Procurement Director Germany, you will shape and lead the country-wide procurement strategy across Food and Non-Food categories to support growth and profitability. You will build a high-performing team, forge strategic supplier partnerships, and drive continuous improvement and cost optimization. Your role connects with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, food safety, and customer satisfaction while delivering measurable savings. Verantwortungsbereiche

Define and implement the Germany procurement strategy across Food and Non-Food categories
Build a high-performing procurement organization aligned with business goals
Develop long-term sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships
Drive procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
Achieve a 5% reduction in procurement spend over five years and lead cost management initiatives
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed
Collaborate with Executive Chef, Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships and secure supply continuity
Lead change management, mentor local teams, and contribute to the country leadership team

Zentrale Anforderungen

Master’s degree or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Food Industry Management
Minimum 5 years in strategic procurement roles, preferably in inflight catering, food manufacturing, hospitality, or international operations
Strong expertise in Food Procurement and proven ability to deliver savings through procurement strategies
Good business acumen with understanding of culinary, operational, and commercial challenges
Experience in multicultural, fast-paced international environments
Fluent German and English; French is a plus
