Project Engineer, Laboratory Billing & KV/KBV Solutions

As a Project Engineer in Laboratory Billing, you implement and configure Clinisys solutions for German lab invoicing and reimbursement workflows. You’ll translate KV/KBV billing requirements into software configurations and support end-to-end lifecycle from analysis to go-live. You work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing processes and deliver customer training and handovers. This role combines domain expertise in German healthcare billing with hands-on configuration of LIS/LIMS-related workflows, contributing to efficient, compliant laboratory invoicing at scale.

• Deliver implementation services including requirements analysis, gap-fit workshops, billing configuration, testing and validation support
• Analyze laboratory invoicing workflows and map KV/KBV requirements to software configurations
• Configure billing rules, customer and payer requirements, invoicing processes and related laboratory workflows
• Manage project tasks or small implementations, documenting decisions, risks and progress
• Provide customer training, project handovers, and system updates/upgrades
• Collaborate with Project Management, Customer Services, Support, Development and Sales on billing requirements

• Practical experience with German laboratory billing, invoicing and reimbursement processes
• Knowledge of KV and KBV billing requirements in the German healthcare sector
• Experience configuring billing, invoicing, LIS/LIMS or related healthcare software
• Understanding of laboratory processes and their link to billing rules and invoice generation
• Experience in requirements gathering, system testing, validation and customer implementations
• Fluent German and professional English proficiency
