Senior Construction Project Manager (f/m/d)

As a Senior Construction Project Manager at KLA, you will lead complex office, laboratory, and clean room builds from planning to handover, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and compliant with regulations. • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements for assigned projects
• Define scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
• Prepare and manage project budgets; forecast resources and handle change orders
• Analyze processes and propose improvements to optimize cost, quality, and asset performance
• Obtain permits and regulatory prerequisites from authorities
• Own contracts and subcontracts; select and coordinate general contractors and suppliers
• Coordinate architects, designers, engineers, and contractors across all phases
• Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, safety, and regulatory standards
• Provide regular cost, schedule, risk, and milestone updates
• Lead large, multidisciplinary project teams and drive timely decisions
• Develop space roadmaps for offices, labs, and clean rooms aligned with business needs
• Create workspaces and clean room environments that foster collaboration and innovation
• Build strong relationships with internal groups; align with strategy and metrics
• Compile market data and budgets to actively manage construction costs
• Create and optimize industrial project cost models; support data-driven decision-making
• Balance client needs with broader company interests

• Significant hands-on construction project management experience
• Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and architectural principles
• Proven ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
• Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents and terms
• Experience reading blueprints and technical documentation
• Solid experience with German building law and local authority approvals
• Knowledge of Bauordnungsrecht, HOAI, VOB, DIN, and VDI
• Experience with permitting and regulatory authorities
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, P6; MS Office
• Experience with tendering and cost planning tools (AVA software such as RIB iTWO, ORCA AVA) is advantageous
