Senior Crisis Management Specialist (f/m/d)

In this role you will develop and oversee E.ON's crisis and emergency management system to safeguard people, infrastructure, and operations. You will lead crisis team activation, provide decision support during disruptions, and coordinate with authorities and partners. You will run exercises, monitor threats, and align standards across business units. This position offers the chance to shape security practices in a green, digitally-driven energy company.

• Develop and continuously improve the crisis management system for E.ON SE
• Coordinate activation and operation of the crisis management team, including decision-making, reporting, and escalation
• Provide structured decision support during crises via analysis, scenarios, and briefing materials
• Manage interfaces with authorities, disaster control, police, fire brigades, and associations
• Plan, execute, and evaluate crisis exercises and trainings for continuous improvement
• Align crisis management standards across business units and monitor implementation
• Monitor and present current threat situation for the E.ON Group (OSINT-based reporting)

• Extensive experience in crisis management in corporate or complex operational environments
• Strong knowledge of crisis management frameworks (ISO 22361, ISO 22301) and relevant regulations
• Experience working with authorities and crisis partners; familiarity with crisis management tools and alerting systems
• Basic knowledge of IT/OT systems, ideally in critical infrastructure environments
• Solid understanding of business operations and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management with a collaborative approach
• Crisis management certification is a plus
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
• Valid driver's license (Class B)
