Overview

In this role you will serve as a key adviser on German employment and labour law, guiding HR, leadership, and international partners. You will lead Workers’ Council negotiations and ensure compliance within an international corporate setting. You’ll drive employment-related initiatives, balance stakeholder interests, and manage external counsel to deliver high-quality legal support. This position offers exposure to global HR compliance, co-determination topics, and cross-border collaboration in a matrix organization.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead Workers’ Council negotiations with strategy, preparation, and stakeholder alignment for compliant outcomes
Act as primary contact for employment law, labour law, co-determination, health & safety, and HR compliance in Germany
Drive and oversee restructurings, terminations, organizational changes, and strategic labour processes with international HQ
Navigate complex stakeholder environments to balance local and global policies in a matrix organization
Manage relationships with external law firms and advisors; ensure high-quality legal support
Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business functions to own topics independently while staying aligned

Zentrale Anforderungen

Law degree; strong track record in German employment and labour law; proven leadership in Workers’ Council negotiations
Extensive practical experience in HR compliance and co-determination topics; health & safety exposure is a plus
Experience in international matrix organizations, especially with headquarters outside Germany
Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and coordinate with external counsel
Fluent in German and English; excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
