Overview

As Senior Manager of RF Design Engineering, you will lead the development of compact, multi-chip RF modules for mobile handsets, guiding architecture, design, verification, and ramp to production. You’ll mentor RF engineers, streamline design processes, and partner with stakeholders to align with customer and roadmap needs. This role blends technical leadership with people management to deliver innovative RF products. You’ll work across teams to address performance, reliability, and integration challenges, contributing to Qorvo’s mission to power wireless solutions at scale. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape next-generation mobile RF technology.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Develop highly compact multi-chip RF modules for 4G/5G/6G mobile handset applications including power amplifiers, switches, LNAs, and controllers
Analyze customer specifications and design module architectures to meet requirements
Analyze and troubleshoot sample performance and improve simulation accuracy
Define and organize characterization, design verification, test, and production ramp support
Manage, train, and mentor a team of RF design engineers
Provide technical leadership across all phases of product development
Improve design flows and processes through cross-functional collaboration
Collaborate with stakeholders on feasibility, roadmap, and product definition
Document and present results

Zentrale Anforderungen

Master’s degree in electrical engineering
12+ years of RF design experience
Proven leadership in RF product execution and design innovation including mentoring RF design engineers
Experience with RF module design in the 1-10GHz range
Experience with ADS or AWR and HFSS or other EM tools
RF system knowledge (ACLR, NF, IP3, Rx-Sensitivity, Isolation requirements, etc.)
Good understanding of cellular RF systems and worldwide carriers
Good communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently
