Senior Production Finance Executive – DE, Prime Video EU Production Finance

As Production Finance Lead for Amazon Studios Germany, you own the financial controller role across the full production lifecycle, from greenlight to close-out. You define and own production finance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to enable executive decision-making and risk management. You manage funding in multiple currencies, ensure controllership, and drive compliant, efficient close processes at pace. You will shape processes and tooling to scale production finance across the EU, partnering with cross-functional teams to support a growing slate of content.

• Lead Production Finance operations for German film and TV projects across all production stages
• Define and own production finance metrics and reporting strategy, including executive dashboards, management reporting, and KPIs
• Serve as financial controller for German productions, ensuring controllership, accurate reporting, and proactive compliance risk management
• Oversee multi-currency production funding, manage cash disbursement controls and mitigate financial risk
• Build and maintain relationships with external production companies, finance partners, and public bodies
• Drive month-end close (cash flow, costs, accruals); analyze variances and communicate findings to leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Business Affairs, Legal, Accounting, and Production to execute payments and resolve financial issues
• Invent and simplify—improve, scale, or automate processes and tools across teams and set scalable standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or quantitative field
• Progressive experience in Production/Finance/Accounting with exposure to Film and TV production
• Knowledge of local tax incentives and regional funding schemes
• Strong analytical skills, familiarity with AI tools, attention to detail, and effective communication; experience with automation and version control tools
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
