(Senior) Vice President (m/f/d) Fixed Income Index Structuring

In this role you will develop innovative fixed income index products and turn ideas into solid methodologies. You will back-test new strategies and analyze performance, while monitoring market developments that affect indices. You will own end-to-end index setup, calculation, and publication, and automate workflows with Python. You will engage with international clients, presenting analyses and guiding decision-making. This position offers hands-on product development within a global, client-centric fintech environment with a strong focus on fixed income and indices.

• Develop ideas for innovative fixed income index products and translate them into methodologies
• Back-test and analyze historical performance of new investment strategies
• Monitor market developments and corporate actions and assess their impact on indices
• Participate in strategic projects to enhance product offerings and business unit
• Manage end-to-end setup, calculation, and publication of indices to ensure accuracy
• Automate processes and manage data workflows using Python
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability within the infrastructure
• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Python code with Git, testing, and CI/CD
• Serve as a key contact for international clients and provide expert guidance on indices
• Prepare and deliver presentations and analyses to support client decision-making

• Academic degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a comparable program
• Strong expertise in fixed income, ETFs, derivatives, and structured products
• Proven programming skills in Python with experience automating processes
• Excellent client understanding and communication skills with international clients
• Former portfolio management or investment-focused experience is valuable
• Highly motivated, proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and resilience
• Experience with ESG integration, quantitative research, or fixed income indices is a plus
