Software Development Engineer II, AWS AI & Strategic Partner Engineering

As a Software Development Engineer in the AI & Strategic Partner Engineering team, you design and deliver partner-driven solutions that accelerate AWS joint success. You will work across security, AI/ML, distributed systems, and emerging services to prototype and deploy capabilities with partners like SAP. The role blends hands-on development, architecture, and customer collaboration to shape interoperability between partner offerings and AWS platforms. This is a fast-paced, self-starting role focused on AI-driven cloud innovations and rapid prototyping for enterprise workloads.

• Design system architectures for partner-driven solutions across engineering domains
• Lead product definition and architectural reviews with cross-functional teams
• Build and deliver integrations between partners (e.g., SAP) and AWS services
• Prototype solutions using AI agents and validate with load testing
• Collaborate with customers and partners to ensure requirements are met
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold rigorous code quality through reviews
• Engage in customer-facing discussions to communicate technical strategies and progress

• 4+ years of non-internship software development experience
• 4+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming in at least one programming language
• Knowledge of full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, operations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
