Supply Chain Project Manager (m/w/d)

In this role you drive procurement and supply chain coordination for development projects, ensuring milestones are met and parts flow smoothly into production. You will partner with cross-functional teams to manage risks, track progress, and present status to leadership. The position emphasizes on-time delivery, issue escalation, and prioritizing parts to meet project targets. This is a hands-on, results-driven role in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a clear impact on production readiness.

• Main procurement contact for development projects and supply chain matters
• Plan and manage milestones across lead times, including feasibility checks, BOM approvals, and drawing releases
• Prepare and present project status to management and stakeholders
• Ensure on-time delivery via milestone tracking and structured reviews
• Monitor purchased parts end-to-end to support smooth production start
• Initiate and follow up on corrective/escalation measures (including shopfloor) for deviations
• Prioritize assigned parts and coordinate with departments to reach project targets

• University degree in industrial engineering or comparable field
• Several years of experience in technical procurement or project management for complex assemblies or series products
• Business‑fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
• Excellent MS Office skills and solid SAP or ERP experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills, high organizational competence and analytical thinking
• Proven results, customer orientation, confident demeanor, and strong conflict-handling and assertiveness skills
