System Architect (m/f/d)

In this role you will design and prototype system-level concepts for communication systems, building PoCs by configuring SoCs, FPGAs, and peripherals. You will develop, test, and optimize end-to-end PoCs with in-house and partner solutions, collaborating with R&D teams and partners on system integration and co-design. You will document architectures, integration steps, and reusable reference designs. This position offers hands-on work in a fast-paced R&D environment at a location in Germany, with a strong focus on impact and cross-functional collaboration.

• System-level system design and prototyping for communication systems
• Configure and integrate SoCs, FPGAs, and peripherals into PoCs
• Develop, test, and optimize end-to-end PoCs with internal and partner solutions
• Collaborate with R&D teams and partners on system integration and co-design
• Document architectures, integration steps, and reusable reference designs

• 5+ years in product and system development for communication devices (e.g., satellite, 5G, Wi-Fi modems)
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Linux/RTOS, and HW/SW co-design for PoCs and prototypes
• Experience with SoCs, FPGAs, and integration of 3rd-party software, SDKs, and communication protocols (Ethernet, 5G/6G)
• Strong problem-solving, hands-on approach, and collaborative mindset in fast-paced R&D environments
• Very good English skills, German basic knowledge
