Technical Director – Track Construction Business Unit

Stellenbeschreibung:

Strategic and operational overall responsibility for the track and cable civil engineering business unit in the role of COO
Leadership and development of the technical and operational team
Management and optimization of construction workflows and processes
Responsibility for costs, quality and schedules of all projects in track and cable civil engineering
Support in acquiring new projects and in preparing bids
Close collaboration with executive management and other company departments
Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, technical and safety requirements
Representing the company to clients, authorities and partners

Requirements

Degree in civil engineering, rail infrastructure/transportation engineering or a related field, ideally with a specialization in track construction
Several years of experience in a technical leadership position in railway construction / track construction
Solid knowledge of construction contract law (VOB)
Familiarity with Deutsche Bahn procedure/specification standards
Knowledge of project management and work preparation
Entrepreneurial mindset
Strong leadership and communication skills
Very good German and English language skills
High level of initiative, resilience and decisiveness
Willingness to travel within Germany
