UX Design Strategic Lead

As a Visual Designer at Google, you help shape product experiences that scale to billions of users. You will lead cross-functional collaboration to harmonize UX disciplines, partnering with engineering and product teams to craft industry-leading visuals and interactions. You drive UX objectives, frame opportunities with executives, and blend Google’s design language with innovative concepts. • Lead UX strategy and advocate a strong design point of view across cross-product partners and leadership
• Harmonize work across UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other disciplines
• Drive UX team objectives and create experiences for Google's products and users
• Collaborate with executive leaders and domain experts to frame product and experience opportunities
• Develop representative designs and narratives blending Google's technology with designer craft
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to leverage user insights from concept to execution

• Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience in product design or UX
• Portfolio, website, or relevant work link required
• 15 years of experience in product design or UX (preferred)
• Master's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
• Experience partnering with UXR to amplify research and impact product
• Experience with identity, authentication, safety, and 1P/3P products
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries to advocate user-centered development
• Excellent communication skills to articulate positions and test ideas with partners
