Vice President, Business Development

• Identify, develop, and drive strategic business opportunities supporting Canatu's long-term growth objectives


• Identify and conduct due diligence on new market segments such as mobility, robots, drones, and defence


• Build and manage strategic customer relationships, commercial partnerships, and ecosystem collaborations


• Develop and execute business development initiatives aligned with Canatu's growth strategy and commercial objectives


• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, customer segments, and strategic growth initiatives


• Support development and commercialization of new products, technologies, and business concepts


• Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships


• Develop collaborations with industry partners, technology companies, research organizations, and other stakeholders


• Lead or support negotiations involving partnerships, cooperation agreements, licensing opportunities, and commercial arrangements


• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic accounts


• Support Business Units in developing new customers


• Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments


• Work with Business Unit leaders and commercial teams to support revenue growth and market expansion


• Contribute to business planning, growth initiatives, and strategic projects


• Prepare business cases, market analyses, and strategic recommendations


• Report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Requirements

• Relevant university degree


• Fluent Business English


• Expertise in some of: Mobile Robotics, Sensors, Cameras, Autonomous Driving, Semiconductors, or Medical Diagnostics


• Significant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, commercial leadership, sales, marketing, or related fields


• Proven track record in developing strategic customer relationships and business growth opportunities


• Strong commercial, strategic, and analytical capabilities


• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills


• Experience working in international business environments and technology-driven industries


• Ability to operate effectively across multiple business areas and manage complex cross-functional initiatives
