Account Manager Medical Ophthalmology of Germany

In this role you drive ophthalmology sales across Germany, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver Leica’s advanced medical solutions. You will shape local strategy, identify opportunities, and manage key accounts to grow market share and revenue. You will leverage DBS tools and field-based activities to increase awareness and customer value while working remotely in the Southern region. This is a meaningful role for someone who wants to directly impact clinical decision-making and patient outcomes through science and collaboration.

• Develop and execute the local business strategy aligned with EMEA guidelines for sustainable growth
• Identify new business opportunities to boost sales and expand the portfolio
• Manage key medical accounts with a focus on long-term relationships
• Assess and clarify customer needs, providing feedback to leadership to refine offerings
• Drive solutions awareness through customer visits, workshops, and sessions; be the lead contact for key customers
• Utilize Danaher Business Systems tools for funnel management and forecasting

• Strong strategic selling experience in a B2B medical environment
• Experience in an international and matrix organization
• Leadership and strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related field
• Fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel extensively; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
