Application Engineer

In this role you will drive product adoption at customer sites and support pre-sales and post-sales activities for KLA's Films and Optical CD platforms. You will work closely with regional and divisional teams to help customers implement solutions and train stakeholders. You’ll develop new approaches (BKM) to address customer challenges and contribute to business growth across Europe. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position with significant travel and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

• Drive product adoption at customer sites
• Support division and local Business Unit to achieve goals
• Provide technical applications support for product development and implementation
• Deliver presentations and customer trainings
• Assist sales in assessing application fit and defining specifications
• Support project execution and product adoption at customer sites
• Collaborate with divisional teams and local Business Unit to meet business goals

• Master in Materials Science, Physics or Electronics/Electrical Engineering (PhD a plus)
• 3 years of semiconductor IC fab experience would be beneficial
• Languages: fluent English; German and Mandarin knowledge a plus
• EU driving license
• Willingness to travel >50% and up to 2–3 months in Taiwan
• Statistics software (e.g., JMP) knowledge a plus
• Project Management experience is a plus
