Commercial Lead

As Commercial Lead, you drive all commercial and contractual activities for large data centre construction programs, forging trusted client and contractor relationships and guiding strategic commercial decisions. You’ll oversee contract administration, change control, claims, and cost reporting while mentoring the commercial team. You’ll provide oversight of project financial performance to support governance and accurate forecasting. This role centers on leading hyperscale data centre programs with Accenture’s digital capabilities and client-focused culture.

• Lead all commercial and contractual activities across major data centre construction projects to ensure delivery and value.
• Serve as the primary commercial interface for clients, contractors and stakeholders, offering strategic commercial advice.
• Manage contract administration, change control, claims management, cost reporting and commercial risk mitigation.
• Lead and mentor commercial teams to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Provide strategic oversight of project financial performance, including forecasting and governance.

• Extensive commercial management experience in large-scale construction projects, ideally hyperscale data centres or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of NEC, FIDIC and other major contract forms.
• Proven experience managing change, variations, claims and dispute resolution on complex projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with senior client and contractor engagement.
• Strong commercial acumen, cost management expertise and experience leading commercial teams in fast-paced environments.
