Customer Relationship Manager

In this role you will analyze hydrogen policy and regulatory environments to inform market access in Europe. You will map customer segments and develop market entry roadmaps, while supporting early engagements and commercial negotiations. You will lead regulatory compliance efforts for Chinese PEM fuel cell systems entering Europe and manage documentation and audits. The position offers a transition to a regional sales or permanent role based on project outcomes, with impact across policy, market access, and partner ecosystems.

• Policy and regulation analysis across European markets, including subsidies, standards, and entry barriers
• Identify target segments such as heavy-duty fleets, logistics operators, stationary power, and microgrids
• Develop go-to-market roadmaps with channel screening, localized pricing, technical demos, and POC frameworks
• Build lead pipelines, support early technical discussions, trade shows, and commercial negotiations
• Lead product market access and regulatory compliance for European entries of PEM fuel cell systems; manage CE, ATEX, UN ECE R134/R107, and lifecycle compliance with RoHS/REACH, GDPR, and carbon disclosure
• Establish compliant documentation archives and localized technical file systems
• Role evolution: transition to Regional Sales Agent or permanent European-based employee based on performance

• Master’s degree or above in Energy Engineering, International Business, Marketing, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in Europe’s hydrogen/new energy sector with preference for PEM fuel cell exposure
• Deep knowledge of EU and national hydrogen policies (e.g., RePowerEU, Fit for 55, National Hydrogen Strategies)
• Proven ability in independent market research, business model design, and business plan writing
• Fluent English; German/French/Dutch is a strong plus
• Strong network within European enterprises or industry associations; proven global expansion track record
