Overview
In this role you will own the end-to-end bid lifecycle for the Modular Solutions business, shaping commercial outcomes and ensuring executable, compliant proposals. You will also contribute hands-on estimating for complex modular projects, aligning strategy with Sales, Operations and Engineering. You’ll drive bid planning, governance and risk assessment to deliver competitive, high-quality bids. This role offers impact by accelerating modular delivery while maintaining safety, quality and schedule certainty.
Verantwortungsbereiche- Own the bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification to contract award and handover
- Define win and pricing strategy with sales, operations, engineering and senior management
- Establish bid plans, schedules, responsibilities and governance gates
- Prepare, validate and challenge cost estimates covering all cost categories
- Coordinate inputs across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics and site operations
- Lead development of bid documentation, including commercial offers and compliance matrices
- Chair bid kick-off meetings and manage approval gates
- Ensure bids are technically compliant, buildable and executable within modular delivery constraints
- Several years of hands-on estimating experience in construction or plant engineering, preferably in modular environments
- Strong site experience with understanding of construction processes and project interfaces
- Advanced cost estimation and bid preparation skills, including risk evaluation and claims handling
- Proven ability to manage complex bids end-to-end and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Engineering or comparable qualification
- Experience with commercial and technical aspects of bids
