Field Process Application Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Field Application Engineer at KLA, you support customer qualification and drive progress with the field team across sites. You provide sales support, liaise with customers, and help identify upgrade opportunities and product weaknesses from user needs. You will build market intelligence through customer and supplier contacts and travel internationally up to 50%. You contribute to product development by suggesting enhancements in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

• Qualify customers with the field team and obtain on-site acceptance
• Provide timely answers to customer questions and support sales opportunities
• Visit customers to advance discussions and close opportunities
• Develop information sources through contacts at customers, suppliers, and analysts
• Suggest potential upgrade opportunities and identify product weaknesses from customer feedback
• Travel internationally up to 50% to engage with customers and partners

• University degree in a technology field
• Professional engineering experience, ideally in the semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (plasma CVD, PVD, Etch) and packaging
• Experience with wafer processing, gained at an equipment vendor or wafer fab (advantageous)
• Enthusiastic personality with a positive attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to collaborate across levels and regions
• Excellent English; German is an advantage
