Financial Accountant (all genders)

In this role you will take ownership of key accounting processes and drive financial reporting in line with HGB and IFRS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and improve processes. You will manage receivables, invoices, and intercompany reconciliations while supporting tax reporting. You will work at the intersection of Accounting, Finance and Controlling to enable data-driven decisions. • Independently manage accounting processes and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements per HGB and IFRS
• Produce analyses and reports for management and stakeholders
• Oversee accounts receivable management, including monitoring receivables and intercompany reconciliations
• Review and process incoming invoices and ensure timely payments
• Support tax reporting and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze financial matters and identify opportunities to optimize processes
• Work across Accounting, Finance and Controlling to understand financial interdependencies across the organization
• Contribute ideas to continuous improvement of finance processes

• Commercial apprenticeship with relevant further professional training or a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Several years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance
• Solid knowledge of German HGB and ideally IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to understand complex relationships
• Independent, ownership-driven and proactive work style
• Confident communicator with cross-functional collaboration experience
• Fluent in German and English
