Global Procurement Excellence Consultant (m/f/d)*

As Procurement Excellence Consultant, you drive global transformation across Source-to-Pay processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and compliance. You will work across regions and functions, shaping standards, KPIs, and governance while leveraging analytics to identify improvements. You’ll partner with Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal, and HR to rollout changes and enable data-driven decision making. This role offers growth toward SME areas like P2P, SIM/MDM, analytics, and change management, in a globally renowned reinsurance company.

• Lead global procurement excellence initiatives to standardize processes and elevate compliance
• Identify automation, self-service and AI opportunities within P2P processes and shape business cases and roadmaps
• Contribute to process mapping, maturity assessments, and benchmarking across regions
• Coordinate design and rollout of process standards, KPIs, and policies with stakeholders
• Translate KPI insights into practical improvements and management reporting (e.g., QBRs)
• Use data analysis to monitor procurement performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal, HR) on global projects
• Capture and share best practices to strengthen knowledge exchange
• Lead change management and training to enable adoption of new tools and processes

• Procurement, consulting, or digital/operational excellence project experience
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, frameworks, and compliance
• Experience in process analysis, performance measurement, project management, and transformation initiatives
• Analytical, structured problem-solving approach
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, Coupa, or Celonis experience advantageous
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in international settings
• Strong professional English; German is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally
