Japanese Speaking Accounting Assistant

A leading automobile parts company is seeking a Japanese Speaking Accounting Assistant to support Finance, as well as HR, General Affairs, and Sales admin tasks. The role involves communication with the Japan HQ, so Japanese proficiency is an advantage. Accounting experience is a plus, but not essential if you are eager to learn. Business-level English and German are required.

TYPE: Full-time role
WORKING HOURS: 8:30-17:30 (1-hour lunch break)
SALARY: EUR 45-55k per annum + performance bonus (up to 10%)
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Neu-Isenburg, Frankfurt (Everyday in the office during first 6 month, and up to 2 days working from home is acceptable)

Accounting Assistant Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process and file VAT returns
• Liaise with external accounting firm for bookkeeping and payroll coordination
• Issue and manage invoices
• Communicate with the Japanese HQ

Administrative Support

• Provide general support for HR and General Affairs tasks
• Assist with Sales support-related back-office operations
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth business operation

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in accounting-related tasks is an advantage
• Familiarity with DATEV or similar accounting systems is a plus
• Business fluency in English is required
• Proficiency in Japanese and/or German is a strong advantage
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in a global working environment; understanding of Japanese corporate culture is a plus
