LEGAL COUNSEL (f/m/d)

• Provide legal support and advice to senior management on diverse legal matters
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and financial regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, EMIR, UK FCA)
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, financial institutions, and technology partners
• Evaluate legal risks and support business teams in developing compliant, commercially viable solutions
• Assist in handling regulatory inquiries, audits, and communications with supervisory authorities
• Execute legal procedures related to intellectual property (software licenses, patents, trademarks, designs)
• Monitor regulatory developments in capital markets and FinTech and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing within the legal team and enhance internal processes and tools

• 2+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Strong understanding of contract law, financial regulation, and regulatory requirements for trading platforms
• Ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and translate into practical guidance
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail with a solution-driven, end-to-end ownership mindset
• Affinity for innovative technologies and proactive legal problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
