Mgr, Lab Operations

In this role you lead a 5–10 person biology lab team within a GCLP environment, overseeing immunogenicity assessment of vaccines via serology on clinical trial samples. You manage the lifecycle of antigen-specific serological assays—from development to decommissioning—while ensuring method qualification and ongoing analytical monitoring. You uphold lab qualification, change control, and deviation reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a GMP/GCP setting. This position suits a detail‑oriented virology expert who drives quality and operational excellence in a clinical diagnostics context.

• Lead and develop a small team of biology lab technicians and equivalent staff
• Evaluate vaccine immunogenicity using serological testing of human clinical trial samples
• Oversee lifecycle management of serological assays (development, optimization, qualification, validation, decommissioning)
• Monitor analytical methods in routine use and ensure timely lab results
• Maintain laboratory qualification status including equipment qualification, change management, and deviation reporting

• Biological studies (PhD) with a focus on virology
• Min 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a matrix structure
• Experience working with BSL2 pathogens
• Familiarity with GMP/GCP environments
