Presales Systems Engineer - North Germany

In this Presales Systems Engineer role, you translate complex security challenges into compelling Fortinet solutions for German-speaking customers. You act as a technical advisor, shaping security architectures and guiding deals with PoCs, product demos, and targeted workshops. You collaborate with sales, partners, and solution architects to accelerate adoption of Fortinet’s Security Fabric. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with customer-focused storytelling in a fast-evolving cyber landscape.

• Deliver engaging product demonstrations that highlight Fortinet’s technology and value
• Lead technical enablement sessions (online and on-site) for partners
• Plan, set up, and run PoCs to prove Fortinet solutions in customer environments
• Equip sales teams with up-to-date technical knowledge, practices, and competitive insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build trusted relationships and drive successful outcomes

• Hands-on networking and/or IT security experience in vendor, SI, service provider, consulting, or enterprise IT environments
• Strong German fluency with English proficiency for presentations and discussions
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively
• Customer-facing mindset with consultative approach and ability to position Fortinet’s differentiation
