Presales Systems Engineer - Central Germany

As a trusted technical advisor in Fortinet’s German Sales Organization, you translate complex security challenges into clear, compelling solutions and influence customer architectures. You’ll lead technical demonstrations, PoCs, and workshops, collaborating with sales, partners, and architects to drive secure, scalable Fortinet deployments. • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and articulate Fortinet’s value to customers
• Plan and execute PoCs ensuring technical success and customer confidence
• Conduct technical enablement sessions and workshops for partners
• Provide technical sales enablement with up-to-date knowledge and competitive insights
• Collaborate with sales, partners, and solution architects to build long-term customer relationships
• Support customers in building secure, scalable architectures using Fortinet solutions
• Travel as needed to engage with customers and partners
• Contribute to winning strategic deals through technical leadership

• Hands-on experience in networking and/or IT security
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Consultative, customer-focused approach with ability to articulate differentiators
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, events, or conferences
• Experience in a vendor, system integrator, service provider, or enterprise IT environment
• Pre-sales experience is valuable but not mandatory for strong engineers
