Principal (m/w/d) – Analytics & Consulting, Pharma / Life Sciences

As a Principal in Analytics & Consulting at IQVIA, you own client engagements and drive high-quality, value-added strategies for pharma and life sciences clients. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams, nurture relationships up to the C-suite, and uncover new revenue opportunities while guiding delivery and pre-sales efforts. The role combines client leadership, business development, and firm-wide initiatives in a global, collaborative environment. You’ll shape thought leadership and help grow the Analytics & Consulting practice.

• Act as principal owner of client engagements and ensure client satisfaction with high-impact deliverables
• Develop close client relationships up to C-suite level at affiliate or HQ accounts in Germany
• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities with existing and new clients
• Allocate direction and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams
• Form pursuit teams for large engagements during pre-sales, sales, and delivery phases
• Oversee project delivery as Principal-in-Charge with responsibility for quality, timing, and budget
• Lead thought leadership and initiatives to enhance firm visibility
• Stay updated on industry and client trends to anticipate new business challenges
• Mentor and coach colleagues to deliver world-class solutions for clients

• Master’s degree or equivalent in listed disciplines or related experience
• Extensive experience at a top consulting firm in strategy, operations, or related areas
• Experience in client delivery, project management, and business development with pharma/life sciences clients
• Several years of pharma/healthcare industry project experience and knowledge of core pharma processes
• Proven ability to build relationships and sell complex engagements at senior levels
• Fluency in English; German preferred
• Willingness to work in Frankfurt/Munich/Berlin offices if not on-site
