Program Manager (m/f/d) Platform Development

As a Program Manager for platform development, you lead complex seating-platform programs from concept through regulatory approval. You work with cross-functional teams across borders, including airlines and manufacturers, to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality. You’ll manage risk, coordinate stakeholders, and report to the steering committee. The role offers international collaboration and the chance to shape future in-flight seating platforms.

• Lead complex product development programs for seating platforms
• Drive new seating platform development from concept to regulatory approval
• Manage large interdisciplinary project teams
• Serve as primary contact for project questions
• Collaborate with international airlines, Boeing, and Airbus
• Ensure milestones, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations are met
• Create and maintain project plans with milestones and responsibilities
• Monitor progress and initiate corrective actions
• Facilitate information flow within the international team and licensing authorities
• Active stakeholder management and risk management
• Provide regular project reporting to steering committee and management

• Completed technical studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable degree (qualification expected)
• At least 3 years of project management experience in aviation or a comparable field
• Strong project management knowledge and experience in product development
• Business fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent communication and organizational/coordination skills
• Proficiency with MS-Project, Jira, MS-Office, MS-Teams
• IPMA or PMP certification desirable
