Overview

In this role you lead large Data Centre architectural programs within the Urbanism + Planning team to deliver scalable, technically robust projects. You guide multidisciplinary teams, set design direction, and work closely with colleagues to achieve high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. You will shape sustainable, innovative solutions and help position AECOM as a partner of choice for complex data‑centre ventures. This role combines leadership, client engagement and project delivery at scale in a global, equity‑driven firm.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Provide project leadership and technical oversight on Data Centre projects; guide multidisciplinary teams through complex architectural commissions
Set clear design direction and collaborate with Brisbane colleagues to drive successful outcomes
Oversee major Data Centre initiatives to ensure design quality, innovation and client satisfaction
Partner with sector leads to win pursuits and strengthen client relationships
Mentor staff to elevate studio-wide capability and drive continuous improvement
Manage resource allocation, budget and risk to strengthen market position of the architecture offering

Zentrale Anforderungen

Registered Architect with ideally 15+ years of experience and current professional registration
Extensive architectural Data Centre sector experience with strong technical knowledge and design considerations
Proven leadership in motivating and growing high-performing teams, with mentoring and teaching passions
Strong organisational skills to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects and deliver outcomes
Strategic mindset to shape and strengthen AECOM’s architectural offering and market position
