Retail Operations Manager (m/w/d)

In this role you drive operational excellence across Central Europe, ensuring stores meet global standards and operate efficiently. You collaborate with market teams and cross-functional partners to optimize store performance and compliance. You’ll lead regional audits, loss prevention, and omni-channel systems while shaping regional targets and incentives. This position blends hands-on store oversight with strategic governance to support sustainable growth in a multi-market environment.

• Provide day-to-day store support (opening/closing, cash handling, inventory control, POS processes) and maintain SOPs; conduct regular store visits to embed CRE standards
• Enable and support EPOS, RFID, Smart Safe, Omni Gift Card, ORS and SFS; train and provide IT feedback; own Omni KPIs end-to-end
• Lead the regional audit framework (Yoobic audits, corrective actions, on-site operations audits) and address Global Audit inquiries
• Oversee loss prevention, fraud examination and stocktakes to safeguard stock and ensure transaction accuracy
• Monitor KPI metrics (stock accuracy, shrinkage, transaction accuracy, productivity, hours) and manage store performance against revenue/ops targets
• Act as senior geo escalation point; align with IT, Loss Prevention, HR, Finance; represent geo to HQ; co-define operational targets/incentives with Retail Leads

• Degree, commercial apprenticeship, or equivalent business-related qualification
• Experience in Retail Operations, Retail Management, or Store Management in a multinational or multi-market environment
• Hands-on store experience with strong understanding of retail operations and standards
• Solid understanding of retail standards, compliance, audit processes, and performance management
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and KPIs for decision-making
• Independent, structured and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with a collaborative mindset
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Interest and aptitude for working with various retail systems and interfaces
• Willingness to travel regularly across Central Europe
• Comfortable spending ~2 days per week in stores
• Hybrid work arrangement in Offenbach office (3 days in office)
