Sales Director (relocation to Barcelona)

In this role you steer SiteMinder’s growth in the DACH region by shaping bold go-to-market plans and leading a high-performing GTM team. You collaborate with sales, marketing and product to align strategies, expand the customer base, and drive revenue. You’ll represent the company at industry events and stay ahead of market trends to position SiteMinder for future growth. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced tech environment.

• Develop and implement regional go-to-market strategies tailored to the DACH markets
• Provide vision and direction to go-to-market teams to achieve revenue targets
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing go-to-market team
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and attract top talent
• Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance, onboarding) to ensure alignment
• Drive revenue and customer growth across the DACH region via GTM initiatives
• Set and achieve revenue and market share targets in the region
• Penetrate new markets, expand the customer base, and drive sales growth
• Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings to enhance visibility and lead generation
• Identify market opportunities and trends to position the company for future growth
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track sales performance and drive improvements
• Manage and mentor regional sales, marketing, and operations professionals
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of regional staff
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and promptly address concerns
• Manage regional sales budget and resources for maximum ROI
• Drive sales process optimization and cross-department collaboration to improve the customer journey
• Continually improve customer experience through processes, people development and technology

• Proven ability to build, manage, and scale a high-performing sales team and achieve significant revenue growth
• Deep understanding of the DACH market and local business environment
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable strategies
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to influence at all levels
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly
• Fluency in German is essential
• Experience in travel industry is a plus but not essential
