Senior Characterization & Verification Engineer (m/w/d)

As a Senior Characterization & Verification Engineer at Littelfuse, you will drive the characterization and verification of advanced power semiconductor devices across global labs. You’ll lead test specifications, automate measurement setups, and analyze results to support datasheets and design documentation. You’ll help standardize SOPs and push best practices in measurement methods and data analysis. • Lead characterization and verification of power semiconductor devices to ensure full functional coverage
• Collaborate with design leaders to develop test specifications and verification plans
• Develop and optimize automated test setups and measurement systems
• Analyze results and prepare technical reports for datasheets and internal docs
• Conduct design verification reviews per international standards
• Drive global alignment of SOPs across characterization labs
• Identify and implement best practices in measurement methodologies, automation, and data analysis
• Troubleshoot test failures and define corrective actions

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Technology, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor device characterization
• Proven expertise with Si, SiC, and GaN technologies
• Strong experience with oscilloscopes, parameter analyzers, and PXI systems
• Experience with statistical data analysis and measurement system evaluation
• Advanced understanding of measurement circuit design, high-speed switching, and thermal characterization methods
• Knowledge of IEC 60747 and JEDEC standards, including Rth/Zth analysis
• Experience with automated test development using Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, C, C++, or C#
• PCB design and test fixture development
• Experience with cross-site/global lab collaboration
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive process improvements
