Senior Staff Engineer Memory Macro Design and Architecture Verification (f/m/div)

In this role you will lead the development of embedded memory compilers and shape the architecture for memory blocks within a global R&D team. You partner with concept engineers, customers, and project managers to define, plan, and track memory projects, while hands-on working on design, characterization, and verification of memories. You’ll guide an expert team to deliver reliable memory solutions and collaborate with automation and view-generation groups to improve processes. This is a high-impact role at Infineon’s drive toward smarter, greener technologies.

• Lead the development of embedded memory compilers
• Define compiler specs with concept engineers and internal customers
• Collaborate with project managers on project setup and tracking
• Hands-on memory design, characterization and verification
• Lead an expert team in design, characterization and verification of memories
• Collaborate with view generation and automation teams
• Contribute to development-process and tool-flow improvements

• 5+ years of professional experience in transistor-level circuit design and SPICE-level simulation
• Strong background in design, simulation and verification of semiconductor electronic circuits
• preferably full custom digital or memory design experience with technical project leadership
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global team
• Fluent English; German a plus
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
