Senior Engineer I&C Buildingautomation (m/f/d) Semiconductor

In this role you contribute to the detailed engineering of instrumentation, controls, and automation for high-tech facilities across semiconductor, BioPharma, and Life Sciences sectors. You collaborate with clients during plant modifications, prepare execution documentation, and support project scheduling and budgets. You coordinate subcontractors, manage interfaces, and participate in inspections and factory tests. This position lets you shape engineering solutions in a cross-functional, international setting while ensuring safety and quality alike.

• Develop detailed engineering for instrumentation, controls, and automation systems for high-tech facilities
• Clarify technical requirements with clients during plant modifications or expansions and present solutions
• Prepare execution documents (drawings, functional descriptions, bill of quantities) for procurement and planning
• Support project management with budget, quality, and schedule considerations and assist in scheduling updates
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure high execution quality while complying with safety and environmental standards
• Manage internal and external interfaces to ensure smooth information flow
• Participate in meetings, factory acceptance tests, and on-site inspections
• Oversee installation of measurement, control, and automation systems

• Studies or technical training in automation engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or building automation, or equivalent qualification
• 2-3 years of professional experience in planning, construction, maintenance, or commissioning of measurement and control systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with common PC programs and MS Office
• Experience in high-tech facilities, ideally semiconductor or BioPharma
• Knowledge of relevant technical standards, regulations, and codes
• Fluency in German and English; team spirit, initiative, dedication, and high flexibility (travel)
