Senior IC Validation Engineer

In this role you validate, characterize and debug high-performance optical and mixed-signal sensors and subsystems, supporting design teams to ensure specifications are met. You will define validation concepts and test setups, prepare validation plans and reports, and correlate results with production tests. You will work with cross-functional teams and, where needed, engage with customers to discuss results. This position offers the chance to shape validation of advanced sensor systems at a global supplier.

• Evaluate and characterize high-performance optical and mixed-signal sensors and subsystems (ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, LDOs, temperature sensors)
• Define validation concepts for mixed-signal ICs
• Define and implement test setups for electrical, optical, spectral, and audio sensor evaluation
• Prepare validation plans and document validation reports
• Develop validation requirement specifications aligned with design specs
• Analyze results and compile compliance reports
• Validate and debug evaluation hardware
• Execute electrical and optical measurements
• Correlate measurements with production test results
• FPGA programming
• Engage in technical discussions with customers and internal teams

• Master in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years in IC validation and measurement techniques
• Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal ICs
• Experience with development of analog circuits and mixed-signal subsystems (highly beneficial)
• Experience with CAE tools; programming for measurement automation (LabVIEW, Python, C)
• Excellent knowledge of high-performance sensor systems
• PCB design and layout of evaluation hardware; Altium (advantage)
