Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise

In this role you will partner with Enterprise sales to translate complex data replication needs into compelling technical outcomes. You will guide customers through the value of Fivetran’s data pipelines, framing proofs-of-value, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to win technical deals. You’ll stay current on industry trends and help others overcome technical roadblocks. This position is remote in Germany, with a preference for Munich, offering a chance to impact thousands of data-driven organizations. • Understand enterprise customers' business use cases and data replication requirements
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to enterprise audiences
• Lead organized proof-of-value to secure technical wins
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements across the company
• Work with sales reps while maintaining customer focus and technical excellence
• Stay updated on current technologies and industry trends
• Assist teammates with advanced technical or business roadblocks

• German language proficiency (native/professional)
• 5+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or related technical field
• Strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies
• Experience with modern data analytics tech: cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, BI tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with other data replication or ETL tools
• Experience with self-hosted software applications and supporting infrastructure
• Hands-on networking experience in cloud and on-premise environments
