Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform

In this role you own the shared foundation that enables Firefox and other tools to act inside the browser. You’ll shape the platform strategy and ensure a reliable, secure layer used by internal teams and external AI tools. You push forward WebDriver BiDi and design safety controls to give users visibility and control. You will define strategy for major AI assistants and measure success through adoption, usage, reliability, and security. This position blends hands-on engineering, architecture, and strategic product thinking in a fast-moving, greenfield space.

• Own the shared foundation and the building blocks it provides for other software, ensuring reliability and security
• Advance the WebDriver BiDi standard and create Firefox-specific advantages
• Design safety controls for user approvals, action visibility, and control reversal
• Define strategy for major third-party AI assistants used by people
• Serve internal teams and external tools through a unified, shared layer
• Measure success via cross-team adoption, platform usage, reliability, and security

• Product-minded engineer or technically proficient PM who can drive a technical product
• Experience in developer-facing space with ability to consider consumer and internal platforms
• Comfort with strategic ambiguity and owning a technical contract used by multiple teams
