Service Delivery Manager - Patent Annuities (m/d/f)

In this role you ensure high-quality service for international IP portfolios, acting as the main liaison between clients and internal teams. You support renewal processes for patents, utility models, and designs and manage customer relationships across borders. You will train clients, handle orders, and uphold SLAs, contributing to the global IP lifecycle. This position sits in a growth-focused, cross-functional front-office team that emphasizes customer centricity and continuous learning.

• Independently support new and existing customers and their IP portfolios
• Serve as the point of contact between customers and internal departments
• Present the client engagement model to new clients
• Build strong relationships with customers at various levels
• Gather and document customer business and technical information
• Identify training needs and conduct customer trainings
• Manually and electronically process renewals for patents, utility models, and designs with data recording and control
• Process orders efficiently while meeting SLAs and contracts
• Prepare and conduct yearly customer service reviews
• Correspondence in English with international customers
• Handle regular inquiries and smaller projects
• Contribute to achieving business objectives

• Several years of professional experience in demanding customer and order management
• Practical IP and deadline management experience
• Independent, reliable, detail-oriented, and precise
• Strong initiative and teamwork
• Excellent command of English and conversational German
• Proficiency in MS-Office and strong IT affinity
• Project management experience is an advantage
• Completed education as patent paralegal; foreign language correspondent or comparable qualification
