Solution Engineer - Vehicle OS

Overview

In this role you help OEMs and Tier 1s adopt Applied Intuition’s Vehicle OS across middleware, developer toolchain, and IVI/infotainment. You act as the technical bridge between customers and Applied’s teams, guiding architecture reviews, demonstrations, and early deployments. You will enable customers to modernize E/E architectures and deepen in-cabin experiences. This position offers impact at the intersection of software and vehicle systems and requires close cross-functional collaboration.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Serve as the technical bridge between automotive customers and Applied Intuition’s engineering and product teams
  • Support OEMs in adopting Vehicle OS components and integration with existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Lead architecture reviews, demos, and early-stage deployments with OEM/Tier 1 teams
  • Onboard customers to the code-first developer toolchain and SDK, and set up virtual ECU environments
  • Guide design of service-oriented vehicle architectures and cross-ECU/system integration
  • Collaborate with IVI/infotainment teams on AAOS integration and Cabin Intelligence features
  • Triages and resolves technical issues with customers and internal teams
  • Manage project milestones and communicate progress to stakeholders
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • 3+ years with automotive OEMs or suppliers in SDV, E/E architecture, developer tooling, or in-vehicle infotainment/IVI
  • Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive) and automotive developer tooling
  • Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols: SOME/IP, DDS, CAN, LIN, or automotive Ethernet
  • Experience with vehicle software toolchains: SDK-based development, virtual ECUs, SIL environments, or CI/CD for automotive software
  • IVI/infotainment platforms: AAOS, Linux-based IVI, HMI/cluster software, or display middleware
  • Execution-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple customer engagements
  • Experience working directly with customers on complex software/vehicle systems problems
  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
  • Basic/intermediate programming in C/C++, Python or similar
  • Strong written and verbal English; German or other European language is a plus
