IT Solutions Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer at CACI, you will translate business objectives into executable engineering solutions within the Systems Architecture - IT group, driving integrated initiatives from conception to implementation. You will lead cross-functional collaboration, assess requirements, and shape design plans to support national security missions. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical work to deliver impactful engineering outcomes. This position is onsite in Stuttgart and offers opportunities to influence engineering standards and continuous improvement.

• Chair the Integrated Engineering Working Group for assigned demands and projects
• Translate business objectives into technical solutions
• Assess skill requirements and resource needs
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering disciplines and stakeholders
• Create Demand technical assessment packages and present recommendations
• Partner with Project Managers on charter development and milestone planning
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and design reviews
• Elicit, analyze, and document requirements from diverse stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop Engineering Design Plans
• Present design solutions to leadership
• Serve as technical liaison between business units and engineering
• Partner with Chief Engineer to refine engineering processes
• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and methodologies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
• Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, or Associate's Degree and 7 years' experience, or High School Diploma and 11 years' experience
• Demonstrated solution development expertise
• Knowledge of engineering design processes and standards
• Experience with project management methodologies
• Experience with requirements management and technical documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
