Strategy Lead - Acquisition (Germany)

In this role you drive the growth strategy for iwoca’s German market, leading a cross-functional team to boost acquisition and activation. You translate market insight into prioritized product and go-to-market initiatives, shaping onboarding journeys and experimentation. You collaborate with engineering, data and commercial teams to ship features and models that improve conversion. You’ll establish an operating rhythm for a new dedicated unit and measure impact on growth.

• Define and own the acquisition and onboarding roadmap for the German market
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, data science, marketing and commercial teams
• Develop tools and experiments (lead scoring, eligibility checkers, onboarding journeys) to improve conversion
• Design and run A/B tests across messaging and product flows; interpret results to inform strategy
• Coach and build the team, establish operating rhythms and processes for the new unit
• Translate market insights into prioritized commercial opportunities and product problems

• Strong commercial mindset with track record in go-to-market strategy and acquisition growth
• Experience in growth strategy, revenue operations, or analytics-driven commercial role with tech-enabled or product-led growth
• Proven people management experience and ability to build culture in a new team
• Fluency in German and strong written customer-facing communication
• Strong analytical capability and experience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing
• Experience with technical models such as lead scoring, predictive targeting, or qualification logic
• Ability to operate from first principles in ambiguous environments
