Trade & Working Capital Client Service Account Manager – Associate (all genders)

Overview

In this role, you will deliver first-class client service to top DACH-region clients within the Trade & Working Capital team, resolving complex inquiries and ensuring compliant, efficient trade-finance operations. You will act as the in-country expert on sales and service requirements, building strong internal networks to support client satisfaction and business growth. The role focuses on applying German law, local guarantees, and ICC rules to transactions while driving process improvements. You will work closely with front and back office teams to sustain a high-standard client experience and contribute to department initiatives.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Review guarantees and SBLCs under German law and ICC Rules
Resolve complex client inquiries related to trade finance transactions
Coordinate with front office, back office, and stakeholders for seamless client experience
Ensure adherence to firm policies, procedures, and standards
Maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation
Investigate and resolve complex customer requirements with effective solutions
Implement process improvements to drive efficiency
Participate in departmental initiatives to advance business strategy and objectives

Zentrale Anforderungen

Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)
In-depth understanding of trade finance products, current market practices, UCP600, ISP98, German Federal Code/Law, and regulatory issues
Strong experience in client facing roles
Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
Proven ability to build and maintain a network
Ability to work under pressure with tight schedules in a high-risk environment
Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
