Veeam Kasten, Director SE – EMEA & APJ

In this role you lead a distributed team of Kasten Specialists across EMEA and APJ to drive technical wins and define territory strategy. You partner with regional sales leaders and product teams to align customer needs with Kubernetes-native data protection. You will elevate technical execution, enable the field, and broaden coverage for Kasten and VDP Proxy across the organization. This hands-on leadership role also engages with enterprise architects and executives to articulate business value from complex, multi-stakeholder deals. A key hook is shaping data resilience for cloud-native and AI-driven workloads at scale.

• Lead and develop a distributed cohort of Kasten Specialist Solutions Engineers/Architects across EMEA and APJ
• Own technical win rate across regions by standardizing discovery, solution architecture, demos, and POC execution
• Collaborate with regional sales leaders on territory planning, pipeline development, and pursuit strategy
• Lead regular business reviews on technical pipeline health
• Build technical capability for Kasten and VDP Proxy through enablement, certification, and repeatable assets
• Develop ecosystem relationships with Red Hat, AWS, SUSE, and regional partners and system integrators
• Travel up to 30% across EMEA/APJ, with occasional global travel

• 8+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering in enterprise software
• 3+ years in people leadership with coaching, retention, and performance management across countries and time zones
• Hands-on Kubernetes and virtualization experience in production or evaluation
• Knowledge of enterprise data protection and recovery
• Proven track record supporting complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles and partner-led motions
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value and present to diverse audiences
