Executive Recruiting Director – EMEA

As PMD Recruiting Director - EMEA, you will lead the executive recruiting function across the UK, DACH, Italy, France, and the Middle East, shaping strategy and mentoring a local team. You will manage end-to-end searches for Partners and Managing Directors, build trusted relationships with regional leaders, and partner with global teams to ensure a seamless, ethical, and high-quality process. This role emphasizes an inclusive, collaborative culture and a strong governance of candidate experience, data, and vendor partnerships. You will influence senior stakeholders and help drive the firm’s leadership agenda in a complex, matrixed environment.

• Lead the EMEA executive recruiting team and function across multiple regions
• Build trust-based relationships with regional leaders and global stakeholders
• Manage end-to-end searches for Partner and MD-level roles, including outreach, interviews, and evaluations
• Develop and write business cases for final-stage PMD candidates for CEO/Board review
• Vet and manage external search firm relationships and budgets
• Oversee onboarding experience in partnership with People, Office, and IT teams
• Ensure data collection, confidentiality, and legal compliance in recruiting
• Optimize the CRM usage (Greenhouse) for candidate experience, data, scheduling, and reporting
• Mentor and develop recruiters, researchers, and coordinators in a forward-looking, engaging environment
• Maintain alignment with firm policies and local laws, and contribute to process improvements
• Collaborate with global executive recruitment on performance, budget, and special projects
• Support cross-regional guidance and onboarding of new hires

• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
• Deep knowledge of the consulting candidate pool and executive search in advisory sectors
• Understanding of business drivers in professional services (utilization, client management, commercials)
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team; strong feedback culture
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences
• Experience leading executive search in EMEA; research and candidate outreach expertise
• Experience with executive search firms; strong vendor management
• Strong writing ability for concise, executive-ready documents
• Ownership mindset with accountability for team outcomes
• Excellent client-service orientation and stakeholder management across a matrix
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage shifting priorities
• Fluency in English; German/French/Italian a plus
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Excel; willingness to travel
• Ability to work in office and remote settings; flexible hours for project needs
