Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

In this Engineering Manager role, you lead multiple cross-functional engineering teams building customer-facing products and internal platforms. You’ll translate product priorities into reliable delivery, partnering with Product and business stakeholders to create tangible customer and business value. You’ll foster an inclusive, ownership-driven culture and guide teams through technical and delivery challenges at scale. This is a hands-off leadership position focused on direction, mentorship, and measurable impact within a cloud-native environment.

• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams while fostering ownership and psychological safety
• Set a clear engineering agenda aligned with team strengths and opportunities
• Collaborate with Product Managers to balance customer value, business needs, and technical excellence
• Clarify priorities, manage risks early, and ensure reliable follow-through on commitments
• Provide mentorship, career development, and performance management for engineers
• Offer technical direction and drive simple, maintainable solutions without individual contribution
• Work with leaders and stakeholders to resolve conflicts and drive cross-team initiatives
• Use data and measurable outcomes to improve delivery, reliability, and customer impact

• Experience leading multiple engineering teams in a product-oriented environment
• Proven track record of setting direction, driving execution, and achieving measurable outcomes
• Passion for coaching, mentoring, and growing engineers
• Sufficient technical depth to guide decisions and challenge constructively
• Proactive, structured leadership with ownership and follow-through
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across Engineering, Product, Design, Data, and Business
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, modern software practices, and agile product development
• E-commerce experience is a plus
